About Us

Mana [Mah-nah]-noun. a supernatural force or power that may be ascribed to persons, spirits, or inanimate objects. Mana may be either good or evil, beneficial or dangerous.

Club Mana was established in October of 2017. With the help of a few parents who believed in us, overnight we were able to officially create Club Mana as an LLC. It was at that point we knew there was no turning back. Within a week we hosted our very first Open Gyms where a few weeks after we hosted our very first tryouts. In our very first season as a club in the Arizona Region we were able to create 4 teams ranging from the ages of 12-16 years of age.

Club Mana was created around a family oriented atmosphere. Owned and run by 2 siblings, brother Jacob Laikona and sister Natasha “Ku” Laikona. Our vision for starting Club Mana was solely for giving athletes who love or once loved the game of Volleyball a fair opportunity to play this sport at a high competitive level at an affordable cost. Unlike many other clubs that like to advertise about being a family, We’d like to say not only do we incorporate the family environment, our Club is run and coached by family. From what we have been told “The VIBE here is just different”.
